Stainless steel lamp shades are the latest addition to the Factorylux industrial lighting collection.
The shades are currently available in the 190mm size, but if the new material is a success, we'll roll it out across other shade shapes and sizes over the next few months.
The stainless steel lamp shades are precision machined in the UK from surgical grade 316 stainless. The exterior of the shade is polished to give a reflective surface which retains the beautifully fine grain of the concentric spin lines.
The interior of the shades have the a classic brushed stainless steel finish to prevent glare from the light source. The material, shape and finish give the shades a cool clean industrial aesthetic.
In addition to being available shade-only, the stainless steel shades are fitted to the Maria Banjo wall lights in brass, silver and bronze. The combination of silver nickel plate base and stainless shade is a particularly attractive combination. The shade and size of the Maria Banjo wall lights make them suitable for accent or mood lighting in a range of spaces.
The stainless steel shade can also be configured as complete ready-to-install pendant lights using the Factorylux Made For You bespoke lighting service.
First choose the 190mm kitchen shade and then the stainless steel option. The shades can be configured with a range of lamp holders and ceiling roses and 50+ choices of fabric cable. When you're happy with your design, it's assembled tested and certified to BS EN 60598 at our manufacturing HQ in West Yorkshire.
The 190mm pendant shades are particularly suited for task lighting above work surfaces and general or ambient lighting in narrower or smaller rooms.
