Factorylux metal pendant lights were chosen for the dining room lighting of a Victorian terrace in Kilburn, north-west London. The home renovation project was recently featured in 25 Beautiful Homes Magazine.
The dining room lights are in the home of Holly and Hugh Canham. The house was a probate sale which required complete refurbishment. With design work by Vorbild Architecture, the ground floor of the house was extended for an open plan kitchen/dining area and reconfigured with a full-width dormer to create an attic guest suite. The house is now beautifully light and airy. Striking floor coverings, wallpapers and soft furnishings are used to create vibrant contrasts with the pale palette of colours and finishes used throughout the home.
The lighting above the dining room table comes from two Factorylux metal pendant lights. The pendants are made from galvanised Coolicon lamp shades, bronze cord grip bayonet lamp holders and pale linen fabric cable. The ceiling hardware is a galvanised cord grip ceiling pattress and the cable looped over a galvanised lighting hook.
In addition to being available as components, complete ready-to-install dining room lighting pendants can be created using the Factorylux Made For You metal pendant light configurator. Style the perfect pendant from hundreds of components and when you're happy with the design, it's built and certified to BS EN 60598 at our production HQ in Yorkshire and shipped for free next working day delivery.

The kitchen wall lights chosen for the project are Factorylux Maria Banjo wall lights in silver with black enamel shades. The wall lights are available with two other stem finishes, vintage brass and antique bronze. All of the lights are configurable with shades in six enamel colours and six metallics, including silver nickel plate, copper and stainless steel. As with the pendants, the wall lights are made entirely in the UK - components and final assembly and testing - to ensure exceptional quality, durability and safety.
