The feature by Dominic Lutyens contained interviews with senior staff at some of the UK's leading lighting suppliers, including our Managing Director, Graham Appleyard.
Graham's interview focussed on two of the fundamentals for Factorylux: customisation and compliance. The industry-leading Factorylux Made For You pendant light configurator allows customers to design pendants from hundreds of components to create the perfect lighting for a room or space. The service is popular with both residential and commercial clients and all the lighting is assembled at the Factorylux production HQ in West Yorkshire.
Graham also highlighted the importance of harmonised British and European or BS EN standards to the Factorylux business model. The commitment to BS EN standards means architects and lighting designers can specify Factorylux lighting confident that it is both safe and durable. Compliance with BS EN standards means Factorylux lighting can be specified throughout the EU, including France and Spain which are two of our fastest growing markets.
