Sian Astley, the interior designer behind Morgeous, has worked her magic for the Splendid Sausage Company in Manchester.
In just ten days, Sian and her team transformed a dark and confined space into an exciting diner with exposed brick walls, red and white decor, and American-style booths, all lit by Factorylux filament lamps.
The Factorylux long tube filament lamps were used to light the windows of the diner. The design of the long tube is strikingly attractive: two tungsten filaments are held by 26 support wires as they run along a central glass stem which is sprung at either end. The filaments are hand threaded at the factory in Switzerland which has been producing filament lamps since 1906.
The main dining area of the restaurant is lit by a variety of other filament lamps from the Factorylux range, either fitted to festoon or combined with Factorylux light bulb cages in a range of colours.
All the Factorylux filament lamps can be specified using the Made For You configurators. Design a pendant light or simple plug-in light using the Made For You bespoke lighting service. And the lamps are also compatible with the range of Factorylux wall and ceiling lighting.
