Original post: We used blind printing for the second of our card designs to feature a poignant song lyric. This design is by 'Ministry Of Love', the pseudonym of the artist Fred Higginson. Fred is an illustrator, sculptor and Print Club London's managing director. 'Love Me Tender' originates as a glow in the dark screen print poster. You can buy our rendition of 'Love Me Tender' here. It features two print techniques not previously seen in our card range. The 'Love Me Tender' trail is produced using blind printing. We create an extra deep impression from a clean or inkless plate. The snail is produced using a half-tone shade effect. Both techniques are achieved on our vintage Heidelberg platen presses. Our collaboration with Print Club's artists is producing some really interesting work. We think this card is sure to be a favorite of Elvis fans and malacologists alike.
