When the Factorylux range of galvanised conduit launched earlier in 2015, we hoped it was only a question of time before customers started to create great designs using the extensive range of components.
The first designs from the early adopters have started to come through, including one at a new Roundhouse Design showroom in Clapham, south London. The showroom features an impressive architectural light made using galvanised conduit tube, joints and lamp holders, all lit by by Factorylux traditional filament bulbs.
Roundhouse Design is an independent company which specialises in designing and crafting furniture for the home. They provide an end-to-end service, from consultancy and design, through manufacturing at their factory in Malvern, to final installation. Being vertically integrated opens up limitless possibilities in terms of style, materials, finish, colours and fittings.
Roundhouse has five London showrooms, and three outside London in Guildford, Cheltenham and Richmond. The new Clapham showroom - 95 Nightingale Lane, SW12 8NX - is fitted out with kitchen furniture and appliances in a range of styles which illustrates both the exacting standards of finish and the complete design service offered.
The Factorylux galvanised conduit light fitting spans a light well in the central area of the show room and illuminates a polished concrete work surface. The combination of finishes - matt white walls, polished concrete, stainless steel appliances and galvanised conduit work really well together. Congratulations to the design team.
